Introduction to 21st Century Mummy
The 21st Century Mummy blog began in September 2006 and was a result of my frustrations with the challenges of 21st Century parenting and the dichotomy it brings. After a couple of rants it was left abandoned until April 2007 when I was bitten by the blogging bug once more and went for it with full gusto. In a society where there are lots of choices for parents and lots of pressures to make the right decision, this blog offers a positive escape, attempting to highlight the simple pleasures and focusing on how to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. After all, the 21st Century brings lots of opportunities which can allow us to live life to the full. 21st Century Mummy is not a mantle which I jealously guard, but a home where modern parents can meet and share their amazing experiences and dastardly frustrations, while reassuring me that I am not on my own.
