		<description>Parents, step-parents, grandparents and friends of the family - these are the people who 've always been the majority of child-abusers.
The stranger abductions make the news because they're rare.
My children's school is playing down the "stranger-danger" message, because it's just not hitting the right spot. They want to introduce a programme which makes it clear an abuser can be anyone, even someone the child lives with.</description>

		<description>I totally agree Joannewe do seem to live in a clinate of fear now. I too remember the carefree days of travelling home from school with friends and no adults, jam sandwiches and fondant fancies at home parties, and also piling 7 of us in a car which would be illegal today of course. We could play in the street outside and call in on friends, and even leave the front door open. Now it would need to be double locked. It's a shame those times have gone.</description>
