I'd love to hear some answers. Last week I finally - on a quiet day - let my two and half year old run loose in the supermarket. With strict instructions NOT to go too far from mummy. Which of course she didn't because she's a smart kid. But I? I didn't breath until we were back hand-in-hand and on our way home. Over-protective doesn't even begin to describe it and yet I promised myself not to turn into my fearful mother. Right. That's not gonna happen.
